Island View Description and Amenities

Island View is Directly on Northern Lake George in the lovely hamlet of Hague. It is literally steps from the door to the lake! The Island View is located in the hamlet section of Hague, which makes it convenient for walking to the town beach and boat launch, as well as The Hague Market/general store, marina, post office, and Firehouse Restaurant.

This is private 2 family home. Island View is the entire lakeside of the building, and is totally private from Island View 2, the 1 bedroom apartment on the other side of the building. For families needing more space, both units can be rented to accommodate a total of up to 12 people.

The living area is on 2 floors, with the living, dining and kitchen in a “great room” design on the first floor. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a lakeside sitting room, and 2 bathrooms. There is a balcony on the second floor along the entire lakeside.

A large brick patio faces the lake. There is a dock space to accommodate up to a 20 ft boat. The dock is shared by the owner and 2 other guests. All boat users other than Island View guests are "load and go," and do not utilize dock or patio for recreation.

Friendly owners live nearby. Guests enjoy the peace of mind of nearby ownes to assist with tourist information, or other vacation/household needs.

Furn

Furnishings at Island View are lodge casual. The first floor has a great room floor plan, with the living/dining and bar open to the kitchen. The Living/Dining area is comfortably furnished with recliner sofa and chairs, a desk, and rockers. A focal point of the living area is a 5ft gorgeous stained glass window. The adjacent Dining Area has a round table that seats 6, as well as a breakfast booth that seats 4. The entire lakeside wall of the living/dining area completely opens to the lake with two 8 ft sliding doors. The doors and windows in the living and dining area offer sweeping views of the lake, mountains, and Waltonian Islands. There is cable television with DVD player. WIFI works inside and out. The sliding doors open to the brick patio and dock. Adjacent to the living room is a 4 Seat Wood Bar with swivel stools. This is the perfect spot for casual meals and drinks. The Bar opens to the Kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and electric stove, as well as dishes, glasses and cooking equipment. There is also a large microwave oven, toaster oven, toaster, tea kettle, coffee brewer, and Keurig One Cup.

The entire rental is Bright, Clean and Cheerful!

Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is a large sunny room, and features a picture window with expansive lake views. There is also a door leading to the Lakeside Balcony. The balcony is the perfect spot for watching the sunrise, savoring morning coffee or evening star gazing. The balcony is filled with flowers. There is a KING size bed, dresser. and sitting area with 2 chairs. There is a
TV/DVD. This room is air conditioned. The Master Bedroom also has a Private Bath with tub and shower, and a large Closet.

Adjoining the master bedroom is the Sleeping/Lounging Room completely surrounded by windows on the lakeside. Again, there is a large picture window. This room has a small table for lake view dining or drinks, and a double bed for lounging or sleeping. This room is accessed from the Master Bedroom or second bedroom. The Second Bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed as well as a dresser. There is a TV/DVD. This room is air conditioned. The Third Bedroom has a double bed, a dresser, and a window with a northern lake view.

The bathroom is on the second floor and has a vanity and a stall shower.

The large Brick Patio is the perfect spot for relaxing and dining. There is a round table with umbrella that seats 6, as well as a picnic table. There is lots of patio furniture including Classic Adirondack Chairs, and super comfortable zero gravity recliners. A propane gas grill is available for cooking. There is a large stone outdoor fireplace which is great for sitting around on cool evenings...bring your marshmallows! The patio and dock face east, making a perfect vantage spot for sunrise and moonrise viewing!

Three steps lead down to the 40 ft long x 8 ft wide Dock, another great spot for relaxing and sunbathing. Lake George

is renowned for fishing, and you can fish right from the dock. The Old Hague Steamship Public Dock is a nearby, and is another great spot for fishing.

For total convenience, you can walk to the Hague Beach and Boat Launch, and to a nearby Marina if you will be renting a boat.

The dock is shared with the property owners. Any boaters

other than Island View guests are strictly "load and go.

The patio area is filled with beautiful plants and flowers.
