"Cliff Cottage "overlooks peaceful Northern Lake George in the quiet hamlet of Hague. Living in Cliff Cottage is like being in a tree house overlooking Lake George and the Adirondack Mountains. The spectacular panoramic lake views are of one of the most beautiful and idyllic spots on Lake George -the Waltonian Islands and Island Harbor. Our family began coming to Hague in the early 1900's...camping on Temple Knoll Island! Cliff Cottage sits above the lake on the west side of Lakeshore Drive, and features a screened porch and 3 outside decks, all with miles long panoramic views of Lake George, "The Queen of American Lakes." There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full and 1 half baths. The cottage is approximately 1/2 mile to the center of Hague, convenient to the Hague Beach and Boat Launch, and other Hague
amenities. Cliff Cottage does not have direct lake access. The property across the street is private property. Lake access is via Hague Public Beach or other public areas.
Porch & Decks
The Screened Porch has floor to ceiling screens on 3 sides, providing a miles long panoramic view of the lake and mountains. Both sides of the porch open to decks on either side of the house. The porch has comfortable chairs, a dining table and a sofa. The cottage and porch face east, so In the morning you can watch the sunrise, and in the evening relax to the moonrise and starlit skies. The decks have comfortable outdoor furniture, a picnic table with umbrella, and a propane gas grill. Steps lead to a small front yard.
Your view includes the beautiful Waltonian group of picnic and camping islands, as well as stunning mountainscapes. Look to the south towards Black Mountain, the highest mountain on Lake George. The north affords views of Glen Burnie and Record Hill.

First Floor
The First Floor features living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower, and two bedrooms, one bedroom having a private 1/2 bath.1st floor features: The living room has large french doors opening to the screened porch. Walking into the house from the back door and looking out to the screened porch and the Lake George beyond is an incredible sight.

The Kitchen has a flat cook top, fridge, large counter top convection oven, microwave oven, and a full supply of cook and table ware. One bedroom has two twin beds. This bedroom opens to the outside porch and has beautiful lake views. The second downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a private 1/2 bath. There are air conditioners in the bedrooms and main floor living area.
2nd Floor Features:
The second floor features the master bedroom. This large room features a great sitting area with a wall of windows overlooking the lake, a queen bed, and a full bath with large stall shower.
Other Information:
The back of the house is on the edge of a woodland area with hiking trails.
The cottage is approximately 1/2 mile from the center of Hague, with the Hague Public Beach, Boat Launch, Hague Market, Fishing Pier, Post Office and Firehouse Restaurant/Bar.
