In addition to our 4 bedroom carriage house, we can offer room rentals in our nearby historic lakeside mansion also nestled in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountain range of Upstate New York, USA.

Home: Built in 1898, this 5,600sq’ home was created in the spirit of the ‘Great and Gracious’ lakefront homes and is beautifully situated on 5 acres with 250’ of shoreline, (100’ of sandy beach), docks, boathouse, lawns, woods and stream. Can choose from several bedrooms all with private baths and original marble sinks and claw foot tubs; our favorite bedroom is a spacious round room with dome shaped ceiling and has a large window seat that overlooks the front lawn and lakefront. The large living room has two fieldstone fireplaces.

Neighborhood: Located in a quiet bay of this 32 mile long lake outside a small town. Many and varied activities are near at hand to this tranquil setting.

Other info.; Famous artist/architect created one of a kind buildings and known locally for his turn of the century immense round porches that overlook the lake. The Metropolitan Museum in New York City owns some of his art.

Lake George, “Queen of American Lakes,” has long been a popular summer vacation destination; activities include, but are not limited to, lake cruises, visiting historic forts and museums, boat rentals, picnicking on an island, swimming, sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, golf, tennis, archery, charter fishing, amusement parks, scenic ferry ride to nearby Vermont for excellent dining and shopping. Further a field in Saratoga Springs is the popular thoroughbred racetrack. We are 3 hours from Montreal and the summer film festival.

With advance notice we can hire out services to suite your needs such as laundry, housekeeping, boat rental, massage, yoga classes, swimming and sailing lessons, and meals. We can offer meals that range from a simple continental breakfast to a full gourmet meal served on the porch overlooking the lake.

JFK airport in New York City or Albany, New York, airport are the most commonly used airports to access the Lake George area. Car rentals can be arranged at both airports.

People: Our family has been sharing our lakefront home with visitors for 70 years. We will be on the premises in a separate living area and available for assistance. We look forward to helping create a memorable experience for you, your friends or family.
